0. Elizabeth Hyndman
Daughter of Rebecca Blair and
Samuel Hyndman, married Hugh
Macfarlane in Mauch Chunk,
Pa., June 4, 1872. Yes, I realize
the discrepancy in the marriage
years-1842 vs. 1840. I will
have to check my sources. Their
first child James, was born
in April of 1843. This photo
and another just like it were
found loose in the album. The
front of one is on the left
and the back of the other is
on the right. Handwriting appears
to be that of her daughter-
Elizabeth "Bessie"
[Macfarlane] Brown (my grandmother).
