Appears to have been written in the hand of my grandmother, Elizabeth Bessie" (Macfarlane) Brown. Photo 39. Her numbering is correct up to #9 when she fails to include the unidentifed "Coat Pocket Mary". The numbering continues to be one lower for the remaing part of the index, i.e., photo #40 is really photo 41.
